Illy'z Barbershop: The Ultimate Destination for Quality Haircuts in Glendale Heights

This is one of the best cuts I’ve gotten. I was in town for a week and needed a haircut for a wedding. I found Illy’s online and got lucky booking MONK. I showed him a pic of the type of fade I wanted and he delivered it perfectly. And to top it off he was a great guy to talk with. I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in town.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I absolutely had to for this experience. I was lucky enough to find this barbershop after getting terrible cuts and fades over and over again at various places. Most places I’ve been to take about 30 min to cut and push you out the door. Not Ilyz! The shop is clean and all the barbers are friendly. I was also lucky enough to get an appointment with Monk who A++. His attention to detail when cutting is amazing. He asked me very detailed questions along the way and didn’t leave any stone unturned. He’s super friendly and you can tell that he’s very skilled at what he does. In the end, I ended up with a perfect cut and perfectly trimmed and sculpted beard! He’s also fun to talk to as well. Highly recommend you give these guys a try and ask for Monk! These guys are the real deal!

There’s a barber who goes by the name GLO. Let me tell you this young dude is very talented. Wish him all the success that comes his way. Amazing experience overall!!!

The whole shop is full of talented barbers. Very clean and modern. Very welcoming barbershop that makes you feel at home. Skittles is the best barber I’ve ever been to, I always leave with a perfect haircut. Super detail oriented and experienced barber. This shop is a go to.

This place is great for haircuts. The interior of this shop is very nice and visually appealing. When you reserve your spot for a haircut you are reserving a one hour time slot! And they will use the entire one hour time slot to meticulously cut your hair! I don't know why but as I sat there waiting while my son got his haircut I couldn't help but think Mike Tyson will be the next guy to walk through the door! This shop has Hollywood type feel and they make you feel special. The only little complaint could be the prices. The cost of a haircut is $35 bucks. However what's very important to point out is that they are cutting your hair for an hour while most places cut your hair in ten minutes. So if you want an excellent haircut and you are willing to pay the price this place is highly recommended. This place can definitely do cutting edge street style type haircuts!
